ooc: The Gathering will continue until we (Lilystar and I) feel we've done enough. Sadly we'll be the only ones participating this month (it counts for November). After this Gathering, I'll try to keep it to full moons.
Lily: RP with Goldenstar and Coldstar. I'll RP Thistlestar and myself. Oh, the (temp) in the character list simply means that it's a temporary cat.

bic: Blankstar raced across the rocky island, his Clanmates following closely behind. With a leap over a small stream, he landed softly on a mat of moss. Thundercrash looked towards Blankstar. "We're the first Clan here," he meowed. "We were late ourselves. What could be keeping the others?" he wondered.

A crash distracted him. A pale brown tabby tom lay at the base of the silver rock, glaring behind him. "Sorry!" a small silver apprentice mewed, dashing away to talk to Leafpaw, ValleyClan's torbie apprentice. "Hello, Thistlestar," Blankstar meowed, barely suppressing his laughter.

Coldstar strode into the Gathering with her eyes on fire, her head held high and her Clan fanned out behind her. She plunged into the assembly, mewed a greeting to those she passed, and stood next to Blankstar and Thistlestar.
"Quite chilly, isn't it?" she remarked, gathering her wits. She looked about shrewdly for any signs of hate for CloudClan in the eyes of the other Clans.

Shortly after, Goldenstar arrived, fur still a bit damp. She gave a smile to her deputy and entered the hollow, watching closely as the cats mingled. It had not been a very good moon for FireClan, but she still had her spunk.

Stormpaw raced over to Amberpaw, eyes shining still. "Hi! Who are you?" Like a kit on its first hunt, she was anything but quiet. Coldstar shushed her.

Amberpaw grinned. "I'm Amberpaw!" she mewed, shifting her weight into a hunter's crouch, playfully leaping back-and-forth like a kit. "And you?"

Blankstar cast Coldstar a curious glance. "You seem rather... Perceptive," he meowed, his milky gaze tracing the CloudClan leader's gaze. "What're you looking for?" he asked, eyes narrowing. Amber flamed up in his eyes, watching Coldstar carefully.

Stormpaw purred, brushing her tail against Amberpaw's flank in awe as if she would disappear at any moment, like it was all a dream. She gave her own name, then began to babble on about her history and Coldstar's mentoring, all the while looking at all of the strong warriors nearby.

"I'm fine," Coldstar mewed, turning away for a heartbeat to straighten her shoulders. Goldenstar settled herself next to the brown tabby and looked at Thistlestar, signaling that she was ready to begin the announcement portion of this glorious, moonlit night. Seeing this expression, the medicine cats and deputies fell into a line, talking amongst themselves.

Amberpaw listened intently, eyes widening as Stormpaw spoke about how good of a mentor Coldstar was. "It sounds like you really like CloudClan and Coldstar," she meowed, smiling. "I don't even think my own mentor is as good," she added with a sigh.

Blankstar shrugged and joined Thistlestar and Goldenstar, signaling for Goldenstar to begin when she was ready. Thistlestar glanced at Coldstar, a small sile growing as he wondered what the two leaders had spoken about.
